New brigade icons - someone interested in those?

I made a new set of brigade icons, see pic. I tried to make them look more like real stuff (so for example the AT brigade icon looks really like an at gun, similar for others), not like the original icons which are more symbolic. It turned out a bit difficult though since the icons are so small that there's not much room for more detailed gfx. I think some came out very well, others not that good. Also users may be prefer the more clear original style....

After unpacking, simply drop the files in your gfx/interface folder (assuming you play DDA).

As for the brigade icons, at the moment I'm not at the computer where the files are. I'll put them up later today....

Colonel Kraken: seems the links at rapidshare expire after some time. When I'm back at my other comp I'll send Packman the mod to host it at his site.

Well, I only have DD, so I don't know what the differences are.

In DD the brigade icons are in the file "auxiliary.BMP" under ..\HOI Doomsday\gfx\interface

If someone could post the file from HOI2 (at imageshack or so) I could look if there are any changes needed.

Well, I appreciate all your work put into all things making EU2, CK and HoI2 look much better BTW, a question: are you the same BeBro from Civfantics? If so, I hope you'll find time and will to quickly replace these horribly awful EU3 sprites with the custom ones like these (wonderful) you made for CIV3.

I'm certainly interested in modding EU III too, however, due to the 3d engine it's completely different than previous Paradox titles, and so I need a lot more information before I can say definately that I can make certain things like units etc. Hopefully in the weeks ahead, esp. after the release things become more clear

Hm, that's bad, the packs are there, and I can dl them without probs, but it seems the links only work when you're registered there and logged in. And only if you're the owner of the account where those files are (so only if you're me ) That's stupid, I thought all can access the links

Looking good. If you want to experiment with different sizes of brigade icons, you can (within limits). See the auxiliary files posted in post #1 of CPack icons thread and also the commentary on them.
