The CORE installer creates a shortcut on your desktop which points to "HoI.exe mod-CORE" and uses that icon. That shortcut is how you run CORE. There is not a separate exe for CORE.

CORE Liberations and another file.

Ok, I had this one file which had Egypt, Maylasia, Libyia and Kazkasystan (countries like that) for me to liberate. revolt.txt i think it was called. Then I had the CORE one. The revolt.txt wiped out the core and I still want to be able to liberate Burma and Libyia(just an example) does anyone have a combined or updated version of the revolt.txt?

Bug with USSR Peace?

Just had a situation where all the Liberated USSR nations were given the freedom. Problem is all my units that were deep in the USSR are now stranded and I seem to be at peace with the USSR.

I went with the R-S treaty being nice to the occupied zones, but then maintained military control throughout. There was also another event to offer peace to USSR or ... (cant remember the option), and I went with offer peace to USSR. I seemed to be railroaded into this decision, as my campaign was going well and I was after at least the bitter peace, but I seem to have lost control over all my hard won territory, and now my units are stranded? I also cant seem to be able to declare war on them either.

Is this a bug? or did I agree to something I didnt want to? Once down the path there seems no reneging on the independence?

After looking at it I dont think I want to offer independence to the occupied zones either in future as well.

Broken New Order-events

I tried to play a 1.05c-game as Germany with C.O.R.E. the other day and found that the New Order-events are broken and I wonder if they're gonna be fixed for the next release and when it's due...
I'm starting to have serious withdrawl-problems here... :D

You prolly came across this event:

With a or b options if SOV accepts, a new border will be stablished in the line menctioned in the action name and the war will be over. You simply had to choose carefully what you thought it was better for you, but after you come to an agreement you can't renegotiate it. :)

In any of the 2 peace agreements, SOV is forced to restablish the independence of annexed countries. Maybe this should've menctioned in the event desc for GER too.

Btw, your units prolly are in your reserve pool.

Core 6.4,cant advance soviet armour tech

its november 1941,ive got as far as getting the T34 with a 57mm,and ive devloped the 70mm long tank gun and the improved tank and the other tech of which i cant rember.Anyway the three requirements for being able to build the next model T34 have been met,but i still cant build anything past the T34/57mm.Any idea's?

You can only build one Advanced Medium Tank. When you built the T-34/57mm, you deactivated the other versions. Basically, you have to choose between getting an early T-34 (one with a 57mm), or hold off and wait until you can get the 75mm version.

You have to research the ASW techs (sonar and such) to be able to build the later types of destroyers in 0.6. It isn't an intentional limitation of the game. This will be a little different for 0.7. It won't require the ASW techs to build the later classes of destroyers. You will be able to increase the ASW ability of the destroyers without having to wait for the next generation. MDow
