There should be some kind of troubleshooting thing within the readme, at least the people who read and not jump right into things will see what the problem is that way.

Burris - I added it to the v0.53 release candidate a few days ago. Perhaps I should make the installer auto-run the FAQ file to display it.
Q. I have just installed C.O.R.E. and I didn't get a desktop icon?
A. If the mod is not installed to the directory where your HoI.exe file is located then the installer does not create the shortcut. Run the installation again and make sure the install path points to where your HoI.exe file is located. Pay extra attention to the distributor part of the path which defaults of \Strategy First\ and must be changed for other versions.

In my current test version of US AI it builds about 15-20 torpedo bomber units. That was enough with old CV's, but I must make some additional tests to check if those are really transferred on boards. If yes, then we can switch production to more torpedo planes/fighters.
Just want to report a CTD that occured. I was playing a hands off game as costa rica. It should be noted that i had been running the game straight for 4 hours. But my computer is pretty good so I don't think thats the problem. Anyway heres the last event that i think might have caused it:

As posted on the general forum, there old "no limit" from 1.04 works with 1.05.
There is no "no limit" patch for 1.05b though...

I had a Ctd with the GER creates Croatia event, but it only fired once, it didnt fired when i reloaded, so i havent reproduced it.
If i have time ill force the event via console and see what happens.

CtD reproduced. I reloaded a previous savegame and it crashes everytime Croatia is created.

In the old installation it crashed with the vichy event.
Now, with the new installation, it crashes when I try to save the loaded game, not if I save a "new" game.
Im gonna try and send you my savegame, and maybe u could take a look at it?

I'm not sure this is the right place to put this, but something really strange is going on in my latest game (see picture below).
I play with HOI 1.05b and CORE v0.5 + v0.51 + v0.52.
I’m cruising along fine, and then suddenly I get a 0.50 dissent rate per day.
Something is clearly wrong. Strange thing is, I hadn’t had any events around this time,
so that cannot be the reason.
The only thing that did happen around this time was my two carriers being completed and placed in a port.
Somehow I doubt that is the reason though…
Either way, something is clearly fucked up!

I have an existing installation of 1.05 and v0.51 which I would like to upgrade to 1.05b and v0.52. Do I simply install 1.05b and then v0.52 on top of my existing installation, or uninstall C.O.R.E., install 1.05b and then v0.50, v0.51, v0.52, or do I have to uninstall everything or what?
Reason I ask is that my first attempt ended in disaster, so I'd like to know the official way to do it.
