Hey Folks,

today i will start to present you the City of Bergen.

First some Facts:
* Population: 150.000
* Mods: 25 Tiles, Traffic+, No-Despawn and HideUI (and many many Assets)

I have built this City with a map based on the landscape of Bergen (thanks to Terrain.party)

The city is already finsihed, but I'm going to separate this into several parts.
(1) The nice Suburbs
(2) The Old Town
(3) All about the Money (Business-Districts)
(4) Downtown
(5) Uptown
(6) Total Overview
(7) The secret sweet spots

Please feel free go give me Feedback.

(1) The Suburbs

Let's start with Nejmensfjorden. This little Settlement lies in the Nejmensfjord, north of the main City.

Renstad is a Suburb not far from the City Center. It is a well planned village with a Population of 12.000, with some local Shops and small Offices.

Frilathi is one of the oldest parts of the City. This is the place where all the factory workers live, since it's cheap and Service coverage pretty low.

I don't want to Show you too much of Fjellpass, because it would spoil some things for later Posts ;-)

Actually i'm only using the map, i'm not rebuilding Bergen. This is why I call this "New Bergen". I'm thinking of some german City names (i'm german) and translate them to Norwegian.

(2) The old City
This is where i started to build the City. The road Network is totally messed up, with many more mistakes i didn't repeat later. Only with high Support of Metro and Busses the traffic is still moving.

The old City consists of 6 district. Dverdborg, which you can see left North of the crazy intersection, is the startpoint.

You want to live in a own house, Close to the City, but still in a quiet area? Then you should live in Gamblefjorden, if you can afford. Here you can see it, with a view trough Dverdborg.

From your Roof you also can have a view to the old City Center, Gamblebyen.
This not only has the best univserity (the only with a own faculty in City planning). This is also the place where art is still living.

Lynch Park has a dark history. It was a industry-only area. But since workers couldn't afford Close by living Areas, they had do commute every day a Long Long distance. So the Company owners decided to build some houses Close by the factories. When the big economic crisis occured in 2022, most of the industry was abandoned. Leaving the area empty. Today lynch park is famous for it's furniture industry.

North of the Highway you can find the Business district of the old town, Sprucekysten.

And now, last but not least, let us take a look at the Gamblestal Intersection. Rumors have been that every year 500 cims never come back when driving there (in reality the number is higher).

(3) The Business Districts

New Bergen has an small international Airport nearby. It's called the "Bergen Fjordland International" (IATA-Code BFI). BFI also has the Cities largest Train Station and habors for cargo and passenger, as well as one of these super Hightech "Space Elevators", even if nobody knows what it does.
It is well connected to the City by Highways, Train and Subway. Internal Transport from Terminal A to B and to the trains is offered by a free bus route.

The largest Company of New Bergen is Birch. Birch is producing everything you will need, from underpants to your private Nucular Power Plant. It's somewhere in the middle of nowhere, so the heavy Pollution and noise does not bother anyone in the City.

You can buy their goods as well as many international brands in the Beringofjorden Outlet Center. It's easy to reach by public Transport, or not quite so easy via the Gamblestal interstection.

Some companies just cannot afford an Office in the City Center, but there is a good alternitive just next to it in Takasin. Not so fancy, not so hip, not so central as the City Center, this is the reasonable choise for your Office to settle down.

(4) Downtown

Today it's time to get big. We're going to Downtown.
Local Cims call this part of the City "Kaupungin".

Downtown is built on the coastline of the largest Fjord and the twin mountains.

20 years after 9/11 there was the idea to rebuild the World Trade Center. And to show the people that freedom's all that matters, they made it 1 floor higher than the original one.

In the Background you can also see the Overdrevet Bridge, connecting the Uptown we will see later.

The view from the coastline is pretty neat, just imagine how this would look like in the night.

Let's go to the area between the mountains, called Piktäpyyhe (which means "Long Towel").

Traffic was completely redesigend in 2042, capable not only to take on local traffic, but also the outside traffic from the old town. This is the only downtown in the world for which people cirp "i love driving there".

While i'm making first plans for my next City (most likely my Hometown), here Comes the next part.

(5) Uptown

Ost Hull is mostly known for it's Hospital with international specialists performing the most difficult surgeries on sheeps (and humans without proper health insurance). It is far away from anything interessing, but see for yourself.

Time to go really "up" town. Since the road is impassable in winter conditions, children love to this as a sledge track (at the lower end of the road i have built an extra Hospital to pick up the wounded :) )

Once you're up, you can enjoy an great view.

No Cims wants to use the Overdrevet Bridge Maybe they are afraid of heights. I have followed cars driving down and go via downtown to Deanstad.

And this is Deanstad.

(6) An Overview
We're getting close to an end. Before I show you my best screenshots, i give you an overview of new bergen.

The same, but this time with the districts names:

Please also take a look at this AWESOME street map view:

This also helps a litte bit on the Gamblestal Intersection.

(7) The sweet spots
This time i'm going to present you the finest screenshots of new Bergen. This is also the last part of my New Bergen presentation. Maybe i'll do another one in the future.

Some of this are edited with Photoshop (more or less obvious).

Let's start with the view from Fjellpass to the inner City.

Coming in to the City from the North, you get t his nice welcome view:

This is the place where i would like to live:

If you want to seduce a Girl like in Hollywood (Horror-) Movies, just go here:

You want to meet fellow photographers? You will for shure find them on this pedestrian Bridge in Deanstad.
