New BATTLETECH Forum Avatar for the Digital Deluxe Edition

Looks like a new Avatar unlocked for BATTLETECH's Digital Deluxe Edition:

And yes, I tried plugging in a "01", "03", etc to see if any other Avatars might be out there... no joy. : (

I wonder if this is the only new avatar available...

I'd really like a choice of people at some stage. Or the player merc company logos.

We might also get them after completing mission goals and certain milestones sort of like badges and metals.

I actually tried to figure out what we bought in the beta, but the pages do not exist any longer, guess we will see soon.

I was looking at the later backerkit ones and those are not available anymore. But those only say game, so i guess non-deluxe for the 25$ one and deluxe after that or maybe all the get basic version and the extras in the backerkit only or something, not really anything i would need from the deluxe pack anyway.

We are 6 days out and I would really like my key. I cant see this going well if they give us our keys like say Monday 24th or this comming Friday and then peace out for the weekend.

So how do I get this? Normally my Steam account is linked and I'd get it automatically I think, but I preordered on GOG and have no idea how to activate it here.

So we have our keys now and I notice that we have the basic badge and forum avatars are available. So even though we were backers and we've been told, in another thread, that we'll get everything the digital deluxe version has (have to download them through backerkit), we actually do not. As seen on these forums, we do NOT get the badge or the avatars of the digital deluxe version as it scrapes that information from steam. As far as Steam is concerned, we have the basic version. Our keys should have been for the digital deluxe version.

I don't buy the excuse that they couldn't have assigned us a key for that due to backerkit limitations, that seems off. What's worse is that Steam doesn't appear to have an "upgrade to digital deluxe" option either, so you can't even fork over some extra cash to get it. Which we shouldn't have to anyway as we're supposed to have the digital deluxe version.

Disappointing.

It's more than likely an oversight rather than an intentional action on their part. I believe there's been similar problems, not necessarily with this release, but others when it comes to Digital goodies getting to Project Backers. After all, wasn't this avatar released recently? It's probable in my mind that they're just very busy what with the release being in less than 24 hours.
