We then meet with the ambassador and tells him we will intervene and wishes him and England good luck against our common enemy.

Summary:
This 25 years-period only saw 8 years of war, in 1601-1604 we fought two wars one against the Mameluks and one against the Spaniards. Then there was peace until 1616 when Spain declared war on us this war lasted for a year and the last war we fought was between 1617-1619 against our former allies, the mighty France.
We were very successful on the battlefield and at last we got rid of those bloody Mameluks once and for all, we took a few provinces from Spain as usual and we even beat up the French and forced them to a humiliating peace.
Our diplomatic success continued when we annexed Algeria.
All this leaves us with 14 provinces on the Iberian peninsula (Portugal has two, Spain and France one each). We also have the Canary Islands, the Baleares and 23 provinces in Africa. Our colonial possessions are now up to four cities, Martinique (2593 inh), Micmac (1156), Chesapeake (1153) and Somalia (704) and 30 trade posts, four at level 5 and 26 at level 1.
Our annual income is up to 404D.
Inflation is down to 1%. (Long live the governors)!!
We have monopolies in Empalme, Andalusia, Tago and Ishafan, five merchants in Venice, Genoa, Thrace, Alexandria, Ile de France and one merchant in Flandres.
On the diplomatic front we no longer have any vassals and we have a new alliance which looks like this:

In conclusion we are still doing great, we no longer have to worry about the Mameluks and the same goes for the Spaniards and we are now even strong enough to fight the French with good hopes for success. The total strength of our army is now 113371 men infantry (+63528 compared to 1599), 65380 men cavalry (+15363) and 158 cannons (+69).
Our fleet has grown and now has 17 warships and 5 transports (compared to 0, 8 in 1599).
Our next goal will be to drive the French out of Iberia and then have a go at the French in their own territory. But before we do that we need to build up our troops in North America to protect our trade posts from the Iroquois.
Diplomatically there are only two Sunni nations left that we can try to vassalize, Oman and Astrakhan and we'll try to do that from time to time otherwise all we have to do is keep our allies happy so they'll help us fight the French.

Summary:
This 25 years-period only saw 8 years of war, in 1601-1604 we fought two wars one against the Mameluks and one against the Spaniards. Then there was peace until 1616 when Spain declared war on us this war lasted for a year and the last war we fought was between 1617-1619 against our former allies, the mighty France.
We were very successful on the battlefield and at last we got rid of those bloody Mameluks once and for all, we took a few provinces from Spain as usual and we even beat up the French and forced them to a humiliating peace.
Our diplomatic success continued when we annexed Algeria.
All this leaves us with 14 provinces on the Iberian peninsula (Portugal has two, Spain and France one each). We also have the Canary Islands, the Baleares and 23 provinces in Africa. Our colonial possessions are now up to four cities, Martinique (2593 inh), Micmac (1156), Chesapeake (1153) and Somalia (704) and 30 trade posts, four at level 5 and 26 at level 1.
Our annual income is up to 404D.
Inflation is down to 1%. (Long live the governors)!!
We have monopolies in Empalme, Andalusia, Tago and Ishafan, five merchants in Venice, Genoa, Thrace, Alexandria, Ile de France and one merchant in Flandres.
On the diplomatic front we no longer have any vassals and we have a new alliance which looks like this:

The Ottomans (37), Oman (157) and Astrakhan (190).
Our total losses are now up to 400404 men infantry (223754 in combat, 176650 of attrition), 78355 men cavalry (41668, 36687) and 122 cannons (82, 40). We have also lost 23 warships (1, 21) and 13 transports (1, 12).
In conclusion we are still doing great, we no longer have to worry about the Mameluks and the same goes for the Spaniards and we are now even strong enough to fight the French with good hopes for success. The total strength of our army is now 113371 men infantry (+63528 compared to 1599), 65380 men cavalry (+15363) and 158 cannons (+69).
Our fleet has grown and now has 17 warships and 5 transports (compared to 0, 8 in 1599).
Our next goal will be to drive the French out of Iberia and then have a go at the French in their own territory. But before we do that we need to build up our troops in North America to protect our trade posts from the Iroquois.
Diplomatically there are only two Sunni nations left that we can try to vassalize, Oman and Astrakhan and we'll try to do that from time to time otherwise all we have to do is keep our allies happy so they'll help us fight the French.

What are your relations with the Iriquois? You should probably focus more on them with your gifts rather than on the English and Dutch. Your relations with the English and Dutch are pretty high already, and their only practical purpose (fighting the French) is already satisfied. What are your relations with the Iriquois? You should probably focus more on them with your gifts rather than on the English and Dutch. Your relations with the English and Dutch are pretty high already, and their only practical purpose (fighting the French) is already satisfied. You need some luck in the first war to get going, I made two attempts that failed before I was successful.
In my games to date (admittedly only six or seven), Granada always invades Andalusia. Then Spain counter-attacks against Sierra Nevada and the defenders usually get flattened in the first month as Spain steam-rollers over them. But, if they do actually manage to throw off the first Spanish attack, they seem to go a bit strange.
They usually proceed to attack Murcia. Then, when Spain attacks Sierra Nevada again and takes it on the second attempt (happened every time so far), the Granadans are wiped out in Adnalusia, usually without taking the city, and will still have a 10,000 strong army sitting to the east, continuing with the pretty hopeless siege in Murcia not lifting a finger to help until Spain turns up to wipe them out and annex Granada.

This 28 years-period saw 17 years of war, in 1625-1627 we fought two wars one against the French and the Iroquois and another (which lasted to 1626) against Portugal. Then there was peace until 1638 when France declared war on us this war lasted to 1640. In that year two wars began, against Spain (1640-1642) and against Portugal, the Ottomans and the Papal-state (1640-1645). Then it was the French (1646-1648) and the Spaniards (1647) followed by the Spaniards again (1649-1651)
As usual we were very successful on the battlefield and we now own the entire Iberian peninsula (except Castille and Tago) and a total of 23 provinces in Europe plus the Canary Islands, the Baleares and Sardinia and another 26 provinces in Africa.
Our colonial possessions are now up to ten cities, Martinique (3698 inh), Micmac (1714), Chesapeake (1647), Somalia (700), Santee (834), Roanoke (961), Erie (855), Irondekoit (2797), Shenandoah (2780) and Tuscarora (2801) and 34 trade posts, four at level 5 and 30 at level 1.

Summary:
This 28 years-period saw 17 years of war, in 1625-1627 we fought two wars one against the French and the Iroquois and another (which lasted to 1626) against Portugal. Then there was peace until 1638 when France declared war on us this war lasted to 1640. In that year two wars began, against Spain (1640-1642) and against Portugal, the Ottomans and the Papal-state (1640-1645). Then it was the French (1646-1648) and the Spaniards (1647) followed by the Spaniards again (1649-1651)
As usual we were very successful on the battlefield and we now own the entire Iberian peninsula (except Castille and Tago) and a total of 23 provinces in Europe plus the Canary Islands, the Baleares and Sardinia and another 26 provinces in Africa.
Our colonial possessions are now up to ten cities, Martinique (3698 inh), Micmac (1714), Chesapeake (1647), Somalia (700), Santee (834), Roanoke (961), Erie (855), Irondekoit (2797), Shenandoah (2780) and Tuscarora (2801) and 34 trade posts, four at level 5 and 30 at level 1.

In conclusion we are still doing great, we have a stable alliance that keep beating our enemies over and over again. Even France is no longer to be considered as a threat to us. Our colonial possessions in North America are now pretty safe as we, England and Holland have more or less divided the continent between us. The total strength of our army is now 99659 men infantry (-13715 compared to 1625), 76143 men cavalry (+10763) and 202 cannons (+44).
Our fleet is pretty much the same and now has 16 warships and 5 transports (compared to 17, 5 in 1599).
Our next goal will be to annex the Papal-state so we can build a mosque in the Catholics holy city. And then we'll try to take as much land as possible in Italy.
Diplomatically there are now three Sunni nations left (that we know of) that we can try to vassalize, Oman, Astrakhan and the Kingdom of the Great Moghul and we'll try to do that from time to time otherwise all we have to do is keep our allies happy so they'll help us fight the French.
