New Achievements

Are they working yet? I just finished the Ethiopia one that I started after I saw the new achievements on steam and haven't gotten credit. Did I just F up and waste like 25 hours of playing to get screwed and not get credit for it?

Nope, and you'll need to start a new save, anyway.

The achievements will come with 1.9 and you won't be able to get 1.9 achievements in a save that started before 1.9.

ffs I did the same thing as Netherlands with the Chinese achievement. You would think I learned my lesson then

Its okay man. Easy mistake. They put the achievements up on steam, afterall. Its a little confusing.
