I think pdx Will reveal them in today's dd anyway
There are like 1 new easy achievement, 3 medium 7 hard and 3 very hard. Somerhing like that, and they are pretty general so they can be achieved in any playthrough. Like fill the hastiluder or the Hunter path. Except one that requires you to play as the hasburgs.
There are absolutely new achievements for ToTo! Stay tuned later todayThere's also something spicy coming for achievements, that I think you all will enjoy!
It is, they have removed the Ironman only rule for achievements in CK3, I have seen it at some Videos.Hmm, then it can't be that achievements will also be available outside of Ironman mode, as that would probably upset quite a few people. But what else could be spicy?
Oh, then it will be interesting what the community reactions will be. I remember that some people didn't like that about Victoria 3, but I honestly do not mind. It is quite a paradigm change, though, especially if it also applies to pre-ToTo achievements (which I guess it does, because I don't see how you could apply different sets of rules to different achievements). It is, they have removed the Ironman only rule for achievements in CK3, I have seen it some Videos.
I know a lot of people that make backups of their save files while playing Ironman games, just in case an awful lot of bad RNG strikes. It’s not like the Ironman requirement is really capable of preventing intentional rollbacks.Hmm, then it can't be that achievements will also be available outside of Ironman mode, as that would probably upset quite a few people. Yeah, I know. It's just that I remember some people questioning the Victoria 3 decision (although that might have been a tiny minority of players for all I know), and that was for a brand-new game. So I wouldn't expect the community to unanimously love this decision if it includes achievements that were previously gated behind Ironman. Personally, I like it in Victoria 3 though, as I no longer have to decide whether I want to go for an achievement before starting a game. And it's not like they're taking Ironman away from us, I will probably still do it from time to time because I love the perma-death vibe (like that one time my ruler and his two sons perished during a Crusade within months of each other - it's fun to come back from a setback like that, and I probably would not have played it out if I had not "forced myself" into not having a previous save to roll back to).I know a lot of people that make backups of their save files while playing Ironman games, just in case an awful lot of bad RNG strikes. How does it work? Do achievements only work when ironman mode is off, or even if the game has a different checksum and uses mods for example? I like to play with ironman on because it gives the game more thrill, but I would be happy if achievements also work with some minor mods that change the checksum (for example if I want to add more icons or remove some popup events). It is, they have removed the Ironman only rule for achievements in CK3, I have seen it at some Videos.
The same as Victoria 3, you no longer need to enable Ironman for Achievements. How does it work? Sorry, I don't have Victoria 3, so I don't know how it works there. So achievements still won't work if I have mods that change the checksum, right? The same as Victoria 3, you no longer need to enable Ironman for Achievements.
No, if you have mods, you can get Achievements even without Ironman.Sorry, I don't have Victoria 3, so I don't know how it works there. So achievements still won't work if I have mods that change the checksum, right?
Wouldn't the House Feuds count as a mechanical change, albeit a minor one? That was an event pack. Didn't add any mechanical changes, only new event chains.
I guess technically, it did. But it was very minor that the game really didn't change much. You get two houses trying to out murder each other over a perceived wrong. Depending on how ahead the house is when they end the feud on their side, the strength of the modifier changes.Wouldn't the House Feuds count as a mechanical change, albeit a minor one?
I do this. It's annoying but it is what it is. I've love to be able to get achievements without having to be in Ironman or even better, getting them with mods. I read todays DD but didn't see any mention of it. Can anyone confirm 100% with a source that that is what the spicy thing is?I know a lot of people that make backups of their save files while playing Ironman games, just in case an awful lot of bad RNG strikes.
