So I'm going to be writing an AAR. I tried one a while back with Europa Universalis 3, and I was unsuccessful. However, I have a good 120+ hours of Crusader Kings II gameplay under my belt, and I though it might be time to give a shot at an AAR. With Qorten's generous permission, I am going to ask for some advice as to who I should play, who you'd like to see in an AAR.
Almost all of my experience playing has been in the British Isles, usually one of the Welsh Petty Kingdoms, Scotland, or one of the Irish Counties, and I would be willing to play one of these if that AAR would interest people. I'd like to do an 867 start, so the Kingdom of Northumbria is not an option.
My play style tends to run towards the "magnificent bastard" end of the spectrum, assassinations and plots to improve my place in the world are common. (Marrying my first-born son and heir to the first daughter of some other kingdom, then murdering all the King's sons is a fairly common way to expand my realm.) I'd also like to start in Westernish (Catholic) Europe. No farther East than modern day Poland/Hungary.
So keeping that in mind, where (as who) do you think I should start? I'm going to keep taking suggestions until Tuesday. If you submit a county/duchy/kingdom, a little reasoning why would be appreciated.
