New AAR (for real this time!)

OK, I know I started a thread like this a few weeks ago, and kinda didn't follow up on it. But it's not my fault! It's... the "OTHER" *game*! [charleton heston voice]Damn you WW2OL!!! Damn you all to hell![/charleton heston voice]

So anyways, no that IGC 2.I forget is out, I was planning on starting a new game for the purposes of an AAR, which I plan to start later today. (it being 3am now) So, suggestions for nation and style?

I'll be using NA1.09 with the latest IGC on Hard/Aggresive settings. Chaos Hurts Taxing, no missions. I thought about some of the more esoteric countries, but I would prefer not. Same goes to pretty much anything with less than 4-5 provinces. I don't think I've seen an actual Spanish or Turkish AAR, so I might try that, or maybe another country in Europe. Doubt I'll play something outside of that sphere, it usually makes for a very boring game IMO.

Anyways, I should be checking in on this thread around noonish, and will be able to start about an hour later, and post that same day. Screenshots would follow as fast as Gen. Suvorov could get them up.

What do you mean "this time for real" I am going to start the game for my AAR today and post it tomorrow.

Many people said to play a mission so you could try that.

You can start a Crimean or Astrakhan AAR, they have a relative big number of provinces and are cool to play. Expect rumble with Russia, Poland and/or Turkey though
Alternatively, try Algiers (quite a number of provinces), Mughal Empire (try getting to Thrace by example ), Greece (Played it once, cool game), Hungary (hard but do-able) or the Super Hansa.
Of course Spain or Turkey are cool as well, but all fairly easy.

It'll be cool to see an AAR of Hessen or Holstein, or any of those very desired and not so superpower kind of country, that are in the middle of the big empires.
