It's the different slashes after the first two "//" - I don't see the image in your post, but I did in mine. If I view the post in IE I see it though, so I guess Firefox is more picky about which slash is used in urls.

Really I think China has a pretty distinct advantage in this regard, and look forward to seeing how you (well, one of you ) deal with it. Maybe playing the defensive will be the best bet, relying on attrition to do the work that your soldiers, occupied on other fronts, won't be able to.
(And no, that doesn't mean I'm rooting for the Ottomans. I just want the fight to drag out for as long as possible instead of an overwhelming victory. )

overwhelming victory? Not if I manage to take the Mughal or Steppe territories. There's no way ANY army can pass through that and be strong enough to defeat the armies that can be raised in Persia or eastern Anatolia.
And I also have the nice advantage that, if I have time, I could go snatch some maps and then go annex Aztecs and the like, without costing any Badboy!

I think that the Ottomans have the land advantage at this time... Due to their slider being (full?) land, and mine being heavily naval... MP capacity is thus near equal, but their troops are better (and presumably cheaper) ... on the other hand, as soon as I can get my hands on an explorer or something, I might make the trip around africa (or america) and pay Istanbul a visit
