it's like watching a war conducted between envelopes. for practicality I can see why people like them, but just the aesthetics of them...yuck.

we dont need another thread but for what its worth, i never enjoyed the models. HOI3 had counters and sprites. HOI4 does not have the option to remove models. i dont exactly care about what you think of counters, its not a dilemma for you, if you like the models. you not liking counters does not solve the problem for people who are upset with the exclusionit's like watching a war conducted between envelopes. for practicality I can see why people like them, but just the aesthetics of them...yuck.

your comment would be useless on its own, but as its own thread its just... especially silly.
sorry I don't get turned on by envelope combat. but like you said, not my problem cause Paradox is trying to attract a more general group of gamers, and in this day and day, people don't like watching envelopes shift back and forth. i'm sure they can be modded it if you missed them so much.
Because giants that stomp on cities is much better aesthetic-wiseit's like watching a war conducted between envelopes. for practicality I can see why people like them, but just the aesthetics of them...yuck.

Great an other thread about this topic.
Well done, in this one the two sides will surely come to a conclusion about this arguement ...![]()
Given that Germany was in a much better state economically than the rest of Europe 30 years after the war, I'd say it's quite a number of fruitcakes ;-)To quantify the number of fruitcakes given about this, one would need to calculate the net profit that amounted for Germany from Operation Barbarossa.
nobody cares how old you are on a forum for discussing HOI4. i'm a fetus and I like 3d models.@Lifthrasil, I'm 15, and I still think counters are better than sprites..... Here's to hoping someone can mod the 3d models to giant counters
