Never ending disease...

Well...I'm not sure what this is. Maybe an odd coincidence, maybe something else. I've had a bunch of provinces diseased for over 50 years, and none of them have gone away. The only changes I've made recently has been to the cultural conversion file (as per the instructions in the thread in this forum.) Any ideas if it's something I did, or just bad luck?

Yep, bad luck...or computer crankiness. I quit the game, fired it back up today, and within a half hour it was all gone.

My capital once had typhoid for almost 80 years. Three days after it ended, it caught the bubonic plague.

Truly, nothing beats sheer bad luck.

If something stays diseased that long I just give it away to a vassal and conquer something that isn't diseased.
