Neutral flags for British Colonies - In case of annexation

British flags on its Dominions is fine, but when it comes to liberating them as Japan or Germany, or well anyone except the British it gets rather strange.

Can the following get neutral flags please?

• Australia
• Canada
• New Zealand
• Union of South Africa

India is the only nation that does get this update.

What would they be though?

At this time, with the exception of South Africa, the people in the Dominions considered themselves British first and foremost. I understand where you are coming from, I just doubt that this would change if they were annexed by an Axis power. It would not change their fundamental views of themselves.

Remember, in Canada, when they changed our flag in the 1960s, it was a heated debate and the only way it was passed was through closure, the first time that was ever used in Canadian history. And then, to snub the Federal government, Ontario and Manitoba made their flags Red Ensigns.

I think the only chance of a changed flag would be if the Soviet Union annexed a dominion.

Well, I guess on the flip side India was more Indian and not 'colonized' compared to the other dominions, so Indian nationalism was more potent and 'maleable' for foreign powers in a sense. I can see why Australia, Canada and New Zealand would call themselves British due to the pride of the Commonwealth.

My head is just in more modern times I guess, I don't know what it was like back then.

I can't see what's wrong with this flag?

Australia already has the "Eureka flag" in the game, from the Armageddon scenario. Could be used for this purpose.

I agree that maybe the people of the dominions would want to keep their flags, but what if in the game they are captured by the Axis/Comintern? I think if Hitler or Stalin had their way they would not allow the local people to keep a British Empire flag...
