You're not RPing hard enough!

This is THE GUY who handles technical issues for the machine intelligence that administrates the empire. He's advisor, assistant, and doctor to the most powerful thing in the nation. He guides the nation and the NNetwork executes his plan. The whole society is his network and he is its tech!

Yeah, I don't want to RP that, and it's not the RP I had in mind when I designed my Despotic Hegemony empire, and it sucks that I'm stuck with either my basic government, or that goofy title.

In a future update (not necessarily even the first, this is not a priority), they should change it so leader titles are part of the name lists.

Neural Networks doesn't really feel like a good upgrade for that vision of Despotic Hegemony, to be honest. You may want to use a different advanced government (if you can.)

This is just one of those unfortunate instances where RP is conflicting with gameplay. Like in any RPG ever where the best looking armor is invariably the worst quality, the bonuses and mechanics of Despotic Hegemony (and it's upgrade) are exactly what I want, but the flavour surrounding Neural Networks doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for.

I'll put up with it, but I do just wish they had gone in a different direction with it.

But as I came in to this topic I realized. Any people who have had a neural network integrated into their species. What do you think would be the most important, the most culturally revered job in such a society?
