We have been discussing on MOD sub forum about negotiation table as tool to end a war. It's just nonsense to occupy almost all of your enemie's provinces to take a little piece of his or her land, just to restart all over again.
Yes, one can ask for invasion CB. But that works only on catholic side of map, it's not available on bizantiny games and can only be done if your enemy have more land than you. Even holy wars take the enemy's land piece by piece, it's nonsense to conquer a lot of heaten land and give it back to take just a piece of it.
Some have exalted the negotiation table that you have on EU3 as a good start point, but that is unmoddable since is hard coded. Any word at it?

Hmm...it is a problem, as feudal (meaning all) states at this time were much less centralized than they were in EU3's timeframe. Conquering huge swathes of nearly inaccessible territory and calling it your own to tax and own...a king in England would get none of the wealth generated in a province way down in Nubia, for example. Raiding, inefficient taxation, corruption, "running costs", and piracy (real or alleged) would make it unfeasible to even own such a province, to consider it his own.
What would make more sense, in my opinion, is landing the realm's courtiers (preferably of the liege's cultures, but with no familial ties to current nobles) in those faraway conquered territories, AND making them independent at at least the ducal level, with maybe one or two kings created in a holy war. As the months pass after you reach 100% and you continue to steamroll the nation, though, other nearby heathens attack you (the chance increasing with every week after passing the 100% mark) because of fear/needing to ensure the safety of their religion and political situation.
