Negative Resource Values!!!!!!!! HELP

Greetings Comrades...

I just took London and after I did so my meagre stockpile of oil, which was about 2000 units or so, suddenly dropped to -56,000. What the heck is up with that? Is that some kind of bug? Earlier in the game I puppeted Iraq and took Kuwait, so I suppose that the Brits were near zero oil perhaps, but why a huge negative penalty?

If this can't be fixed, is there any way to edit the save game file to fix it? I'd been balancing my resources on a knife edge up until now, stressful but fun. Now, at this rate, it would take 4 years of production or more to get rid of the negative balance.

There are 2 places you'll want to look at.

1) Thread "Problems with 106c" started by me, posts 23,24 & 25 (page 1)
2) HOI-FAQ, then go to "cheats & spoilers" by GreatWarrior

You could cheat and give yourself oil up to 0.
