I would prefer to see a completely original game, even it is was in a similar time period as another game. No one will be happy with HOI3 or Vicky 2 or CK2, it will suck compared to the original.

I DO want HoI3! But i choose to vote for cold war game.
I am getting tired of all the WW2 games and i want a good cold war game without C&C before it.
Base building and resource collecting RTS is not for me.

). A Cold War game also opens up the possibilities for many mods. There is a lot more you can do with the time period (sorry Vicky people, but there is only so much you can do with 1836-early 1900's )
Excuse my ignorance but what game does the black and white picture represent? It's from Gone with the wind isn't? So a American civil war game...which would be nice I'm sure but not as good as...A grand strategy title set in a fantasy world , which got my vote, Orc panzer divisions ftw!

Paradox are the pioneers of WW2 strategy games and they just have to keep improving this series, even 20 years down the line keep making it better and better

I suppose that if the Project is decided and named it also have a set purpose already. Not really, a Cold War game would require quite an overhaul of the combat system to introduce things like guerilla and counter-insurgency warfare. Of course it would be nice to have the same combat sytem for an eventual conventional hot war, of course.
I admit HoI3 might have very little new content, but I hope for it anyway
And if not HoI3, then a Cold war game. Such games are too rare and keeping delicate balance in politics could be cool
