Need to download 5.2 but cant register my game

Hi, Ive got a problem. I want the 5.2 for the Death and Taxes mod to work for my game. But I cant acces the thread on this forum that has the 5.2 download link because I cant register eu3:chronicles on my account here.
I enter the code that Ive got at the front of my eu3 disk and the screen flashes, removes the inputted code from the field and gives me no additional response. Nothing telling me if I registered it succesfully or not, nothing (obviously it havent registered). When I input the wrong code on purpose, I get the an error message telling me the registration key is invalid.

So could anyone lead me through registering my game so I can get the new patch?
Alternatively, could somebody give me directions to a version of the Death and Taxes mod that is compatible with DW 5.1? Thanks in advance
 
Ye, ive got the boxed game like you said. But when click the "check for updates"-button, I only get a download link to 5.1. I've already installed version 5.1 and the it even says 5.2 is ready for download before I hit the "check for update"-button. But it wont seem to allow me to download 5.2 (only 5.1). Ive also made sure that the game is 5.1 by checking the left hand corner at the main menu (wich then says divine wind version 5.1).

That's the error you get when you are on 5.2 - it's a minor bug in the launcher introduced in 5.2 (and as there'll be no more patches it doesn't matter) . So are you sure you aren't on 5.2 now?
 
I reinstalled the game, updated to 5.1 and tried again. But I still get the error you're supposed to get when you're at 5.2. And the game says its 5.1 in left corner of the main menu, so Im not sure what's going on.
I will try restalling everything again so I can make sure I havent messed something up when I tried modding.

I have the same problem. I have just bought Eu3 Chronicles physical and new. I can´t register the game and I can´t update the game (it says that the page doesn´t exist), and even if I could download the update, it appears to be the 5.1 patch. The base game seems to have several bugs which maybe the updates can solve. Could somebody guide me to register the game and check for the updates? Thanks in advance.

New ? Like new new ? As if its second hand and someone used the key already, then you cannot use it as well.

I assume it's not a Steamkey ?
If so then there should be a forum key on the box or the manual and enter that

Thanks for your help. Yes, the game is new, it should not be any problem using the key on the box, but I have tried to write it at ´´redeem`` and it says that the code is invalid, despite of I have written it several times using scripts or without them, etc. I have installed the game already. It is quite frustrating. Anyway, I have sent an email to support@paradox.com, maybe they will be able to solve the problem.

Btw, apologize if I infringe upon some rules. I have read the FAQ but I´m new and I don´t know well how forums work.

No , no, no email. They don't do email support anymore, unless you get incredibly lucky. ;)
You have to register and submit a ticket.

or you can post a thread in the FORUM HELP subforum alternatively.

PS: Your issue of the 'invalid key' message gets asked about several times for non-Steam variants,
so i can tell you at least that you are not alone. ;)

Sorry, i suggested submitting a ticket, as it was possible back in the days to submit a ticket without
registration, but not anymore. Forgot about that for a moment.

I will wait until Wednesday for their response. If not, I will send a request to paradox.zendesk.com . Is it the proper way to proceed? I read about it in other thread.

I hope the next time that I post it will be to talk about the Genoa campaign which I wish to start at the ´´post your (DW) empire`` thread. :rolleyes:

As i said, i believe to recall they changed it so that you need have a game registered to submit a ticket, but i might be wrong.
IF true, then you would have to start a thread in aforementioned and linked subforum instead, but you should try to submit
one to see for yourself.
 
For the future, if it may be helpful for somebody. Do not send any email to support@paradox.com , it is a waste of time. Instead, send a request paradox.zendesk.com . They have answered me and solve the problem of the registration really fast after send them some evidences to show the game is original. But I still can´t download the 5.2 patch through the game launcher.

You won't get it through the launcher anymore, by what i read.
