I've been playing now for a few weeks but it seems I can't appoint chief justices even though I have the required level, the same goes for building naval factories. (but I already read that this was a misprint, should be level 16 iso 6)

Now my inflation skyrockets and I always get screwed around 1615-1625. Have any of you heard of this or maybe you know if I missed something ? Any help is highly appreciated.

Sounds like a bug but I've never heard of this happening to anyone else and believe me people would be screaming if it was happening to everyone. Just to be sure, You have Infrastructure tech 4 for judge right and 5 for mayor? Also you should get the latest patch if you havn't already. Version 1.00 had lots of strange bugs in it but they are almost all fixed now.
Cheers

FYI it is the Govenor who reduces inflation not the Judge.

Have you any other promotions going?

While you are building fortresses or an active missionaire, you can't build anything else

U'd think that after a few months waiting in Holland the manual would be accurate, unfortunately there are more errors like this.
