Need some few tips

Hi, new to this game and before I start on a proper game I want to have the "right" game installed.
Now I have version 1.04 and thats it.
I see there is 3-4 mods to download (or even buy at Steam). What do I need?

Seen some tutorials on youtube and two things that I want in my game is the colours on the HQ-lines and also the different colours in the productionline menu..

First off: Welcome to the forums!

I think you have only the base game "Hears of Iron III" ?
I would highly recommend you get at least the first 2 expansions: Semper Fi and For the Motherland. If at all possible, pick up Their Finest Hour as well.
These expansions improve the game by leaps and bounds, fix loads of issues, balane stuff etc etc etc.

So: Hearts of Iron III
Semper Fi
For the Motherland
Their Finest Hour

You can get the Hearts of Iron III Collection, I believe that containts HOI, SF and FTM. Then you'd only have to dig up TFH on it's own.
