Need some advices to my Russia Game.

I'm doing a multiplayer game with Russia (Muscovy). The Year is 1580, I have Golden horde (in process of annextion 42BTax), Circasia, Livonian Order, Georgia and Crimea as vassals. Almost all russian region is under my control including all Caucasus and azerbaijan. I do border with Kiev and Vilnius. I'm the 4th great power in the world. I choose Offensive, Expansion and Trade Ideas groups (Offensive completed, Exp. and Trade in the 3th idea). I'm at the same level of military tech as western europe, but I am getting delayed in Diplomatic and Administrative Techs because I need to do many cores, unlock ideas, annex vassals, peace treaties... My kings has been of medium quality. What I do to resolve this problem? I want to convert the culture of many provinces, once it will be never accepted. How I can westernzine as russia? No one of my neighbors is very advanced in techs. My economy isn't very strong so I can't buy highskilled advisors.

I'm not the best person to listen to because I'm pretty new myself but my two cents:

From what I've seen, it's often not worth it to do culture conversion unless you're just overflowing with extra diplomacy points. Even when I had the Religious idea tree fully unlocked it just took a ridiculous amount of diplo points to convert things. Also, with how many vassals you have, aren't you getting negative diplo points per month due to too many relations? That doesn't help.

Westernizing as Russia is a no-go. Westernizing is good for a small nation, and can be worth it in some of the slower-paced technology groups. With Eastern only being -10%, it's not worth the side effects of having to go through with the westernization... but especially with how big Russia is, it'd be a nightmare.

Who are your opponents?
As Russian expansion in Asia is so easy and so rewarding. You don't really need Westernization at all as Eastern (I don't even need it as Muslim), and you can grab Western Arm Trade bonus fairly easily. Lagging in Adm and Dip tech as Russia is also not a problem at all really.

If you want to culture flip, you might want to pick up influence, so you can get -65% to the cost, the envoy travel time bonus will be useful anyway once you get to the far east, as might unjust demands.

I have at this moment a ruler with 5 dip points and national focus on Diplomacy and a 3+ diplomatic advisor. I will finish the annexition of golden horde. Now with the causus belli of our vassals it's easy to expand. My bigger opponents are the Triple aliance of Poland-Lithuania-Austria and the Ottomans. My unique ally is Denmark (and their PU)
