Need Serious Help HOI3 Keeps Freezing!!

I'm at about 1940 and everything is kicking off but every few days the game freezes and I have to press ALT+TAB then re-enter the game for a few etc etc and
its getting really annoying! Any help will be very helpful

I had this with FTM, the game would freeze every game day at 11:00 for a few seconds. But I guess this is more appropriate for the tech-support forum.

Go to the tech support forum and look at the sticky "Megathread" that has known issues and workarounds. There are several likely fixes linked there. Personally I would advise looking first at the one that refers to Podcast's LLA exe, since that seems to be a common one and it is really easy to test.

Having EXACTLY the same problem in year 2015 !!! One correction - this is 12:00 of gametime, but it reflected like 11:00.

Game version HoI3 v.4.02 (MICV).
Week ago bought and installed game plus few DCLs - 'For The Motherland', 'Semper Fi', 'Their Finest Hour'. All apps are Steam version, hope they included all patches that was issued before.

Playing on very powerful PC - i7-4770, 8Gb - hope this good enough configuration for game of year 2009 ?

Gameplay passing well, but once in late 1950's something happend on map (some event) and gameplay begin FREEZING on 4-5 seconds even on max timewarp.
Absolutely no reaction on mouse or keyboard within this period. Then (after freeze) next 24 hours of gametime pasing within 3-4 seconds. What I meant - on max speed, player have only this 3 seconds of the timeframe to press Pause and managing his country (in addition same problem appeared also in 16:00 of gametime - so now twice in game's twenty-four hour, that make gameplay umpossible).

I cleared map cache, uninstalled C++ Redisributible 2005 to force game use new version. Nothing helped. I repeat, I playing on i7.

Pretty sure problem in save file (with hoi3 extention). Does exist any tools to fix it, or any way to avoid this problem ? Game issued in 2009, and tons of patches came since that.

And can't find tech thread about 'Hearts of Iron III'. Does it exis at all on this forum ? Can any one provide here direct link to it.

Well at least the Checksum (MICV) isn't correct. That should be GSKH.
I'd suggest you register the game and ask your question in the tech forum.
