Need help with mod

I have followed the guide to create your own nation to the letter, but the GC gets to near the end of "Reading Scenario" and freezes. No error message. Any ideas what's wrong?

by the way, I am using Vanilla vicky with the latest updates

You probably forgot a } somewhere. At least, that's usually the case when the scenario loading freezes.
