I'm an Irish Duke, with 7 counties and 4 adult sons. All the laws are default, so it's agnatic-cognatic gavelkind. My 1st son is shown as heir to everything -- the one duchy, with it's 2 counties, and also the 5 remaining counties. My 2nd son has a bishopric, so I can maybe see why he's not inheriting. My 3rd son is heir to a bishopric, so maybe that disqualifies him too. My 4th son, however, is just a nobody hanging out in my court soaking up my mead. Shouldn't he be heir to something?
I thought I understood the succession laws, but apparently I do not. It's not going to all explode on me when I die, is it?
