It takes some time to do them I think. :p And thus only the majors got them, and Austria wasn't much of a major at this time...

Ok, its just I thought they needed them for the different coloured uniforms....I guess another part of the program does that...

Eh? Now I don't understand... AFAIK all units is recolored by someone.

Sure, but where are the sprites/pics of them with Austrian colours?, like the one at the first post? So I guess some ingame function paints them?

I have no idea how this all works, your talking to a programing (complete idiot) here

EDIT - Ok I feel really stupid now (just took a look at a couple of screenies), none of the sprites have country colours to them, just the flag above the army... :eek:o  ...I havent played for a few weeks, thats my excuse and Im sticking to it.

And you're talking to a non-native english speaker here. :p

I dunno what you're talking about, but there's no ingame function that paints an unit, it's as you probably know stored in the map(s?) folder, and by reading these the game gets how the unit looks like. No one on Paradox did any for Austria Lv. 1. As Aye said, Kaigon made some which you can get from the link he provided in Recolored EU2 Sprites > Austria 1 (Grainy) and you use these by unpack them in the correct folder(s).

And yes, a few major countries have special sprites.

Hope this helped... If not, ask again.
