Need help starting and a want a helpful player

Hi I live in Canada and would like someone to play with me and help me and have fun with in EU4.

Also on youtube i saw a place called Hedjaz with only 3 provinces but my map shows Hejaz with several provinces, about 8-10, why is this?
How can we change major religions, example change country religion to Islam or Christianity and how to change sects?
Also what is trade steering,how does it work and help?

Sorry for all this at once but I really love this game and wanna learn better, thanks in advance!

Since 1.8 update there are many more provinces so older yt videos may differ from what you see in game. Iirc there is no legit way now to change your relgion group. You can although convert between catholic protestant and reformed. Trade steering helps you transfer money between tradenodes to where you collect it. To learn more you can consult wiki.

To change your religion, make sure the religion you wish to switch to is the largest in your realm, get religious rebels to spawn and then accept their demands. You'll then convert. Religious rebels always demand that you convert, but unless said religion is the dominant one you can't actually accept their demands. Pagan religions are more complicated, but new players aren't really recommended to go for those anyway seeing as they're terrible and there's absolutely no reason other than roleplaying you'd ever want to consider them.

for sect change you have a decision to change once your capital is of the heresy (they may also be events though I'm not sure)
otherwise if you have provicne that are not of your religion, religious rebel may convert your country
