Hello, Im not here to complain about the traffic AI, i think its decent although it can be improved. But I'm here to shed some light on the topic of 3 lane One way roads. and why we need them.
As you can see in both situations below, the problem with 6 lane roads and roundabouts is that in the current AI setup the cars only use 2 out of 3 roads.
The red lane is used for takin the first off
The blue lane is used for take either of the other available turns
Then the yellow lane is not used at all.
My theory is that this is because there is no weaving setup for 3 to 2 lane.
Like I said i think the AI could be improved, but I would also love to see 3 lane one-way roads, so we can have some proper flow with 3-lane roundabouts.
No Highways DONT count!, Obviously i dont want to use highways IN my city.
