Hello Everyone,

While playing HOI2 I always get navalsupiriority by building a large fleet (30 battleships/cruisers/destroyers) and some submarine-fleets. This is strange because this way when I play Germany I can blast the British fleet out of the Channel and invade them (history doesn't support it). But I also have succes with this formula when I play Russia. (last game I even blew the American fleet out of the Northsea). Can the AI on this point be better or maybe something else?
I also what to suggest that you can reform you fleet during the game. For example when you start to play Nippon you get a lot of fleets, but you can't reform them into two or three big surfacefleets. So sometimes I have to demolish ships to get the "right" kind of fleets. I think this can not be the meaning of the game.
Well that's it for now and I'm open for other suggestions.
Greetings to you all.

I hope you did not sink to many of your own ships  , because you can reform your fleets. Try the button with a ship and the two green arrows pointing away, when your fleet is selected. Same for armies and planes.

not clear

Well, your right when a fleet/army is built up with more then one ship/division, but I also want to regroup those fleets/army which only have one ship or division. I don't think that is possible and I want to be able to do that.
any suggestion???

A good suggestion would be to have a look in the manual!
Select all units (click & drag over armies or port). Those units should now appear on the left of your screen. Then holding SHIFT pressed, you can deselect the units you don't want in the new group. Press the group button (the two green arrows pointing inward). You can also select units by clicking on the green/yellow/red bars under your army stack, holding SHIFT.

the AI likes to send out small fleets for some reason.

it is a real exploit for us since all we have to do in order to erode the UK's or US's numerical superiority is group your fleet together and butcher the enemy one by one.
