Navarra - A short story

This is a short little picture AAR from EU3-IN showing nothing

the goals of playing with navarra are:
1.) survive
2.) Restore Euskedi
3.) Restore Greater Basque

green= homeland, yellow = Euskedi, red= Greater Basque

this is the starting situation of navarra, pretty good huh? i've moved my slider to defensive, i think i will need it.

The Budget tells us one thing ... we are dirt poor. I hope trading will change this problem

We started a diplomatic offensive to get an alliance with the following result... everybody hates us

our advisors suggest a little mission for our country, a mission we try to handle in the future.

27 days after starting the game someone in aragon decided to crush our balls. Castillians dislike this unnoble gesture and revolted against aragonese oppressors.

We startet the war with an overwhelming victory and started sieging there capital.

Eventually they struck back...

after that aragonese and burgundian troops sieged basque homelands resulting in this screen. We withstand till 12 january 1400

I failed ... but i think i've played on of the shortest aar's ever despite my try to succeed

the problem when you play navarra is that you are to small to get allies ... the other problem is, that aragon everytime tried to incorporate you into there realm ... i will try it again with giving military access to aragon and castille and hoping to get granada after castille first war against them... i don't think this will be a successful strategy, but the passive way doesn't work as shown above
