While playing Japan I noticed something... odd.
It's early -42 and I'm not in war with anyone atm, but the Axis and the rest of the world are fighting it out, but then suddenly I noticed that the axis had launched a large scale attack on the USSR... from Siberia. And we are talking about 10-15 divisions from different axis nations (needless to say that they starved to death soon).
Also soon noticed german subs around the pacific islands, and I'm starting to wonder how the heck they could even reach that far (I can't even get my fleet ner Hawaii befor it starts to complain about being out of range. and no nation in asia is granting the Axis access to there ports, and they have nothing there occupied. So how did they manage to get there?
Another thing that I actually like is that the AI really is smarter as far as I can tell. I've played HoI2 for a long time and I have NEVER seen Japan invade Australia, but in DD when I played the USA I had to send 12 -18 divisions to protect Australia from 3-4 different invation attempts (large scale ones as well), makes it a lot harder (in a good way)
