An actual on topic thread! :D

I wonder whether ship assembly line tech applies on production already started? The thing is that I'm in dec. 1943 with Brazil and I have a series of light cruisers under production which won't be finished until dec. '46. Will the assembly line kick in for the next ship in the series?

No it won't. What I do is when the next unit comes off the line create a new line and compare which will finish first. If the new line finishes first, then I cancel the old line. If not, then I cancel the new line and stick with the old. Which is better depends on your gearing bonus and how far into the run you are.

I agree with the above posters, having a serial run from 1943 to 1946 while researching new technology is stretching it a wee bit.

"Lord Orpon", by the way? Best name ever!!!

(I suppose only swedes know why, but it's fun anyway)

There is a boat called Opron but I'm not sure that is what he is referring to.

You can build units in a "run" one after another, each unit after the first gets faster to build (up to a certain limit) due to the gearing bonus.
