Su-34 is indeed an impressive plane, and "peace operation" is of course one way to put it but thats patriotism for you.![]()
From an objective point of view: there was war, operation had objective to force peace, a week and most Georgian military hardware in flames later there was peace. A tenuous one at best, but there was peace. So the mission was successful and operation had a fitting name. It did as advertised.

edit: it is not true that the type45 will carry CIWS the are not on the ship instead they have a 30mm
