I do a naval invasion straight on to a port and capture it easily. But then I find that my troops are not getting re supply and my entire army is quickly and easily destroyed when attacked by the enemy, even if it is an inferior enemy number. Why is this happening and what can I do to solve this?

Hello,

There must be a logical explanation for what happened, but you provided too little information for others to diagnose the cause. Please describe your situation as precisely as possible, and if possible provide screenshots showing relevant information. It would be useful for example to know:
- Which port you landed on
- What was the size of that port (you know, the level from 1 to 10)
- What was the level of infrastructure in the state containing the port (level from 1 to 10)
- What was the size and composition of the army that went out of supply and got annihilated
- What was the supply situtation in the state where your army was (screenshot of the state in "Supply Areas" map mode)

Example of Supply Area screenshot (in Egypt):

Now you may not have this information available anymore if you moved on further in your game. If you are a relatively new player of HOI 4 and still learning how to play the game, I'd recommend you save your game before you launch a major offensive or a naval invasion, so that you can reload in the event something goes horribly wrong. This will allow you to replay and try things differently with the benefit of hindsight, or to keep a "snapshot" if you need to share information with others.
