Two question:

1. Does the AI actually utilize large naval invasions. I ask because I was playing as the king of Scotland and went to war with Norway and called upon my ally (the king of England) and England helped me take their counties that were already in Scotland and had more than enough (149) ships with around 10,000 men just waiting near the shore but they never embarked and I had to set sail alone to conquer Noriegien lands.

2. There are never any plots available??? Only to assassinate my wife....are more plots available if my intrigue is higher? Or how do they become available, I´ve played many years and nothing....

Edit, another question how do I invite other characters to my faction (independence faction)??

1-)I've seen Norwegians invade England again and again in the Stamford Bridge scenario, however they may be an exception. Not sure about other people though.
2-)There are plots which can not be accessed through the intrigue screen. Like killing someone far from you etc.
3-)There is the scheme action with the spymaster, other then that i don't know. I simply don't use factions much, instead start out as an independent-or soon to be independent- character. However people with high opinion of you and low opinion of your liege may also join. But as i said i'm not sure.

2) If you go to a characters info screen, you have the option to plot to kill them in the bottom left hand side of their portrait. You can also kill them in the diplomacy screen for a lump sum of cash. This is a lot less effective though.

3) Use your spymaster to "scheme" in the province where the person you want to join your faction reigns.
