Naval construction annoyance I've noticed.

Just tossing this out there to see if anyone else has experienced it. But sometimes my naval constructions will deploy a newly finished unit to a group that it shouldn't. By this I mean in the naval build prompt you can select which force it automagically goes to on completion, in this case I have it going to a training unit on exercises. But I sometimes see units automagically appear in an unselected unit group such as the V. U-boat Flotilla in my current game which has not been designated as the target unit.

Nope, never experienced it, and I always do configure the deployment to go to training task forces like you. Sometimes ships coming out of a new production line will go to the wrong task force, but it's simply because of a user error (I forgot to configure the deployment or misclicked and picked the wrong task force), not the game's fault.

Are you sure what you're seeing is not the effect of the Automatic Reinforcement feature? I never use it so I don't know much about it other than it exists.

95% sure it's not related to that but it's possible.

I always deploy a ship to a Dockyard; which moves it to 'Reserves' .
Then it goes from Reserves to a Fleet; yeah, it's a 2-stepper assignment, BUT any further mistakes are mine .

Deploying to a stop training when done mission seems faulty to me. I would have to check, but I think it still uses fuel for all ships, but only gives experience for the ones that are not yet regular. With the regular training on ships you use the fuel but at least still get all the naval experience. Again, I am not 100% certain.

All ships in the task force use baseline patrolling fuel. Only the ships that are training use the increased training fuel usage.

If you only have a few DDs to top up training for in a strike force with big guns it can be worth it but otherwise it's just better to put them on normal training and move them in and out the fleet as you need them - that way you get naval xp for your fuel usage
