Not sure if this is a bug (and I couldn't find it using a search), but it looks weird to me:
I'm playing as the US, and as I'm making my way across the Pacific I see dozens of Japanese planes floating in the middle of the ocean. They don't attack and have 0 org. They ignore my ships but will engage my fighters (although they don't put up much of a fight).
I saved and loaded as the Japanese and saw that these planes are based and supplied from the ocean they are floating in (based in the Sea of Ellise - for example). Um, should a squadron be able to float in the ocean indefinitely and obtain supplies from there? It seems odd. Not a game breaking bug of couse...
