As Sweden in the 1700 scenario, I fought a naval battle with the danes in the first few weeks, and, mid-battle a message I had set to pause arrived. I dealt with it and when I looked back, I noticed that whilst the noise of battle had continued, the danish ship was off Stockholm whilst my ships were in the zone below, where I left them, both using the animation of doing nothing. When I clicked on my ship it ctd'd. Thats it, basically - dunno if you can do anything about it, but I thought I might as well submit it.
