Alright, so I understand that having Radar on Islands and choke points for Naval battles are important, but the Radar on ships is the question here.

So Radar increases detection so logically, it would be important to put on the patrol fleet, but what about the strike fleet? Should they have Radar or would that be pointless since the Patrol fleet found the enemy?

Me and my friend are going to do a German and Italy game where Germany handles the ground/air and Italy handles the navy and Africa. So, this will be a fun game lol

High Tech Radar also boosts your attack values slightly, so alteast 1940 and 142 naval radar are worth it.
Beside this, it only helps to then directly patrol with your mainfleet to find the enemy, or evading enemy patrol when you try to break trough a patrolled seazone without beeing detected.

Ah so until really unlocking the higher tier radars, keep them off the strike fleet. Thanks! :)
