hey, i'm playing as italy and have a bunch of nav bombers all ready and waiting to go in bases in Rome, Sicily, Sardegna, Rhodes, and the Balleric Islands (which republican spain ceded to me)... however, i go to use them and notice that the range on all these bombers is 0... anyone know what's wrong or what i could do to fix this?

it's known bug in HSR. Just open HSR_2\db\units\divisions\naval_bomber.txt and fix "range" here to old numbers (800, 1000 etc).

hsr toned down the range on the nav bombers, i set the 1st one to 200, as the nav bombers in 1.2 are to overpowered and make it not even worth your while to build a navy. I prefer how hsr has done the nav bombers and subs, but thats just me :D

I have the same problem. It happened for the first time to me. I looked at the file and the range was the HSR proper one and the game still registers them as having no range. I'm not sure what to do.

REWRITE THE RANGE, CLOSE THE GAME AND RESTART, THEN ANY NEW PRODUCTION SHOULD BE CORRECT. THE REMAINING NAV BOMBERS I CANT HELP WITH.

The edits for a saved game are a bit long as they need to be applied per division. Generally I open the .eug file with MS Wordpad. My first search is for the string "Country = {". The will find the header for each country in turn. Japan is the tenth country, the US follows MAN. Once you found the correct country, the Division list is at the bottom. Hit find next for the above string, and scroll up. You will see headers for each division in turn. The convoys and any production come first, then deployed divisions. A division entry looks like this:
