Nav Bombers upgrade ?

Hi havnt been on Doomsday for quite some time now. Just wanted to know if Navy Bombers can be upgraded. Playing on Hard and agressive AI and got a few tech 1`s and have just finished researching tech 2`s. For some reason on my production slider there is 0 units which need upgrading ?? Have also set all fleets to upgrade as a priority. No joy so far slightly worried if their like ships and cant upgrade :sad: Thanks for any tips in advance.

The short answer is yes they upgrade. A couple of ideas spring to mind, perhaps you are playing a country or mod that gives you tech two navs as starting units even though your technology is only tech 1? The other idea is that maybe you are mixing nav bombers with aircraft carrier planes? Ships don't upgrade but their brigades do, but the CV brigades don't upgrade with the nav bombers, nav bombers are a separate unit built in the aircraft section.

Another consideration might be where your NAVs are at midnight. The computer checks every day at 2400 to update IC stats. If an aircraft is in the air at that time, it's not available for upgrade, and won't show as such.

Ok thanks guys. I also found that the upgrades woudn`t take plae until the Navy Bombers were grounded as well. Anyway thanks again
