When you build a colony, a unit of natives will pop up, and they take the province, lowering the amount of colonists. I have an idea, that, if you border uncolonized areas, there are a chance (based on the aggresivness of the natives) that a unit will pop up in this neighbouring province, and cross into your territory, looting, and leaving if not defeated. This is a cool feature for colonial nations, and native nations. It represents minor tribes pillaging, or raiding into your lands, and doesnt require a formal declaration of war, which the game is based upon.
