Nothing was more annoying in colonization in EU3 then deciding your policy didn't include destroying the natives, finally getting a colony, but because when your soldiers defend the colony from random native attacks native populations go down (obviously) you ended up with the same 0 native colony that had only 1000 settlers.
Is that same mechanic in? Will the natives still make suicide attacks on your army and will themselves to non existent status, or will you have more of a say in if they live or die?
TLDR version; will native attacks still reduce the native population, and is there any point to leaving natives alive in high agression/ferocity lands?
