I don't believe that'd be really necessary. The Ptolemaic Empire is in fact a reference to a dynasty and not a territory. So naming it the Ptolemaic Empire will only be correct as long as the Ptolemeans are in power, but since Rome will be largely character driven and will feature civil war, the ruling dynasty is definately subject to change.Finnish Dragon said:I hope that Paradox would use the names suitable for that era. Gothmog said:True. Then again, I suppose it would be possible to have another dynasty take over... say, a branch of the Seleucids or the Antigonids.
But that's just a guess on my part, and that would apply equally to the Seleucid Empire, for instance. Then again, it would be kind of hard to come up with an "alternative name" on the same level as Egypt for that particular state.
