Who do you selecting for NatChina support in French/British and German/Soviet selections?

Honestly I don’t bother doing them, they take way too long. I think all of those focuses should be reduced to 35 days each, then it’d be worth it.
If you are going for French ones, be sure to do it right after start, else, you can be quickly locked by the requirments that France is not capitulated, which happens in a two or three days after Belgium capitulation most of the time (at least for me)
Anyway, if I'm not going 'Airforce for life' then I'm picking French over British, as for German/Soviets, I'm going for Germany 99% of the time (not forgetting to pick soviet general though in the meantime

Though, should mention that I tend to pick Falkenhausen ASAP, and only then move to the other foci in that branch

The airforce one from UK is long chain but really nice, probably the best design company in the game.
The chain between UK and USA is very good, especially if you want to do the achievement to own every Chinese province which requires a WC. You can catch up "quickly" in Airforce and Navy with these, if you haven't bothered with it the first years in the game. The other ones aren't that important.
I think the tree takes to go down however if I had to go down a tree I would go down the Germany tree as it gives you free military factories and I would also choose the French tree (I remember looking at the two trees and deciding that I thought the French tree would be better but I can't remember why)
it gives you 100 fighters and 50 bombers (with cool soviet names and icons)
I went for the Sun Tzu Clone program route. Which is to get as many general boni: German giving +1 Planning, French giving +1 Defense and next one giving +1 Logistic. And +5 to dig-in.

Some of them, at least. Perhaps the 2nd tier (the 'mission to' focuses) that just give you a relationship bonus.
