Isn't that just reducing the MP cost of building from 10 MP to 9 MP? If so, that's pretty insignifiant, since people spend much less MP in buildings than in other uses of MP (techs or stability).
One of the reasons people do that is because buildings are inefficient. If you take Economic and Quantity, you will have very cheap military buildings: 90% cash cost, 70% MP cost.

Could prove useful, considering the new unrest/local autonomy/rebels do not negociate parts.

Did that in my Byzantine game (but with only the -20% MP cost from Quantity). Within a few decades I was rolling in cash and manpower. A measly 2 MP doesn't look like much, but after building as few dozens of buildings it does add up.

That's my favourite nation from EU3 right there, making a strong bid to be my favourite nation from EU4 as well.

Looking forward to it.
I think they also made it a bit bigger than in 1.7. I remember seeing a screenshot where it either had 3 larger provinces or maybe even 4.

First, I think it is actually pretty significant. Second, why would all the ideas need to be "significant" anyway? What is important is whether the entire set is balanced, and imho these ideas are very strong.

Emm.. and how is that working now ? I`m not familiar with this feture, is some DLC needed for it or was it changed in patch and I didnt noticed ? I mean I cannot see any information about reducing MP cost for buildings

Quantity reduces the MP cost for military buildings - and only for them - by 20%: http://www.eu4wiki.com/Idea_groups#Quantity. So you only pay 8 MIL per building.
Add these national ideas: 7 MIL per military building, 9 ADM per administrative building, 9 DIP per diplomatic building.

Ottomans *lite* indeed.

Is there an overhaul of old decisions? Hopefully all these ideas actually will mean that each country has some events/decisions that mimic some sort of plausible routes of expansion.

Many of the old achievements should be changed too. To become Russia, you should have to annex all the other Russian state-lets for example.

Oh, ok, I understood it backwards... I thought that total bonuses gives up to 90%/70% reduction of MP cost xD. NNevertheless I didn`t know that quantity reduces MP cost. I must have missed this change

Yes that would be nice indeed but Turkey is better especially for Karaman.
%100 agreed on this. I can understand the Ottomans not being able to form Turkey(what if they could, through revolution?) but Anatolian beyliks should definetely have that opportunity. After all, the new Turkey was founded in Anatolia. And if Germans have Germany then adding Turkey won't be a matter.
