I hope they're still a theocracy. And that non-Christian theocracies have been fixed. Ajuraan (or Adal) is one of the countries I want to play next :)

What's the problem with them?
Tibet, Buddhist Theocracy.
Ajuraan, Sunni Theocracy.

Theocracy bonuses:
+2 Tolerance of own religion
-2 Tolerance of heretical religions
+1 papal influence

It's a small advantage to catholic theocracies; so what? It's a pretty minor bonus, makes sense for the religion, and there isn't an easy way of replacing it for other religions. I don't really see anything that needs to be fixed.

They could just replace it with a minor generic bonus so that non-Catholics don't have a laughable government bonus.

IMO rather than papal influence just swap in a small prestige or .5% missionary strength bonus there.

It's good to see NIs on these guys, and they're solid, if unspectacular. It will still be hard to convert Shia without religious or accepted, but if you do go religious you can convert anything (Rome will need a cathedral to convert yourself, but with religious you can do it at full piety + inquisitor). Advisor pool, morale, miltech, and building power/stab cost are all reasonably useful too. This looks like a good nation for the ole economic + quantity money spam combo, though it'll be interesting now that they're Muslim tech most likely.

This set fits with my playstyle shockingly well. I've never given this nation a second glance, but now I might actually try it sometime.

All theocracies, regardless of religion, get +1 Papal Influence. It's ridiculous for non Catholics. Plus there are no localizations for Buddhist and Hindu theocracies. Tibet is an exception, but I saw Shan as a theocracy once, with a Buddhist Archbishop...

Back on topic, I really like all of the new ideas for these nations. Gives them a nice incentive to play!
