I think they™ mentioned, that there are a lot of new formable nations in AoW/1.8. And the Croatian Ideas are very nice, so it would really be a pitty, if it wasn't formable.

+5% defensiveness made me laugh as much as the concept of Croatia (almost never under non - Catholic influence) as Antemurale Christianitatis although TOF if always good.

That was a historical title.. Exactly for the reason you stated. With the Turks on our borders, we were the last not to change religion... (well, at least the state religion)
