Its armies have been destroyed, its long time protector Georgia is 90% annexed and its players spirit and temper is broken and defeated. Thecnically I could still "play" the next session, but I have no heart to witness my beloved finland to die such horrible way when for long now I havent been able to do nothing to prevent it. I think Blayne migth take the ruins into his controll but Im not sure.

I Probably will. It is time for the Moscovite Rurikoviches to stand up seize the day.

Assuming I am getting the spot I asked KoM to change my capital and tag.

I was very surprised that Georgia didn't nuke Indonesia> Obliterating Bengal could actually won the war for Axis. (i guess Jodokus wasn't sober enough :D)

Also, +1 to Golle for proper (finally :D) multi AAR.

Hmm, no. Nuking Bengal would have resulted in nuclear retaliation against Baku and/or Italianopolis. Resulting in an even faster axis loss. It is not entirely impossible that nuking Bengal would have resulted in the Italians leaving the war on eastasia for fear of being nuked. Only Prussia and Qepec could be nuked since it was believed that they had no nukes (since Foelsgard lost all his reactors in the great anti-french war), and the risk for a political backlash was small. Which countires have nukes and how many is very hard to know.

I just read your post, Golle. A pity you won't play Finland just a session or two more. I have enjoyed all the shouting (but not your spelling :D).

On a side note : I hate a MP game, wich is supposed to be free-for-all, and two players are having an "unbreakable" agreement, from the start to the end..The degree of cooperation and specialization between Japan and Malaysia seems incredible. Have they never been on opposite sides at all?

Japan has always been more anti-china than pro china. Since the PEC disaster those two have remained together.

Finland and Georgia have been in an unbreakable alliance since eu3.

Finland/Novgorod and Georgia (briefly Byzantium) have been allyes since 1180.

But since yours is the succesful one, you are gonna' be blamed - Do remember, I'm just another one from the Peanut Gallery!

And Thanks for the answer.
By the way : What happened to India?

Long story short, its first player was pissed of something to Fasquardon (Georgia) and when I tryed to act as middle-man, he rebuked me by saying that he dont negotiate with Georgian vassals or players who cannot even play Eu3.
In Next session me and Elcyion(Byzantium) went to collect our asian trade ports (meaning full invasion but demands of just two provinces total) the player refused and went to the end by exploding India to multible minors.
Then some other players came as India was edited back together untill after three or so Elcyion returned, helped the EAC (all east alliance) to defeat West (which in eventually was the couse of France's free ride and Italian slow departion to Americas)
Then Elcyion got bit greedy, demanded 80 provinces from Fasq in single war, so asia destroyed it (with V_Rs france and Falakhs Prussia as mercenaries) and it was shared fairly, but ultimately Indonesia managed in course of time to gather it all under his posessions.

Golle, could you please post the ending save at Ederon?

Was I hostin?
I need to check it when Im back from work

I was very surprised that Georgia didn't nuke Indonesia> Obliterating Bengal could actually won the war for Axis. (i guess Jodokus wasn't sober enough :D)

The last war's WP included a nuclear treaty between Axis and East Asia. It would have broken the agreement which was leaning of Italy's honour. As we were so gratefull for Italian support to us, we didn't want to step on his toes.

Thats good to hear, but during the war, I think you cannot change the capital IMO, maybe afterwards it should be ok.

I dont know about Kazimir but as long Edzako and I have been playing we have been at peace. And its hard not to be Malaysias ally as the only other superpower in the area - China kept pressuring Japan to give up Manchuria, threatened war and disregarded trade deals. While Malaysia were sending goods and money and guaranteed independence.

I have a share of India too! Edzako bought Prussian part and a few of Malaysias provinces during in the Vicky.

You cant change the capital in HOI with ingame means so it probably wouldnt happen. Quebec requested that at the beginning of the campaign but was refused.

Well I didn't say why japan has been more of pro-malaysia than pro-china, just that since eu3, that has been the general trend.

If anything its moving closer to the front it doesn't matter
.

well wouldn't it in that case be NOT the wisest thing to do?
Well, then again, its yours now, and I try to restain myself of not trying to tell you what to do with it.

And two the reamaining axis : Let the nukes fly! Your only chance will be to help France get big enough to resist the East effectively -Because France is next logical target for the East.. So take out Africa, and give it to Foels.

On a side note : I hate a MP game, wich is supposed to be free-for-all, and two players are having an "unbreakable" agreement, from the start to the end..The degree of cooperation and specialization between Japan and Malaysia seems incredible. Have they never been on opposite sides at all?

I'm sure they do not have a real life connection, unlike some other siblingry. No, Indonesia and Japan have simply been driven into each other's arms by circumstance and have not been given reason to trust any other more than each other. Their cooperation works; any other path will be less optimal. Why forsake this Nash equilibrium?

Answer that question, and you will have broken the union.

Losing with honour is better than a coward's victory. Using nukes, especially against our weird Vicky IC concentration sites is just... I mean why bother playing at all if it's gonna go down that road?

12 divisions and lv 10 coastal fort and you have impregnable island, more or less. (probably more if attacker has that most modern amphibious limit tech)
10 coastal forts take a long time to build though, but yes.

Can't he just paradrop on top of those forts?

..you keep saying that East could Nuke Italianopolis..Do they REALLY have the range for that?

..And those concentrations of IC, you have had quite a lot of IC-building. Have you spread out those newlybuilt IC, or kept them concentrated!

Dropping paratroopers wouldn't even give that -10% envelopment penalty, as you can't attack provinces with unload option as before :(. Unless you mean some that they should overwhelm defenders by air drop alone - that wouldn't be possible on most islands because of range and no air cover.

Also shore bombardment is capped at 25% now. Ah, the good old days, when allies could decimate Italian peninsula with 24 infantry divisions and Royal Navy providing shore bombardment.

Yes cold war extension adds longer range missiles and bombers, that sort of tech is pretty much starting up now if people are researching ahead of time.

Nuking Baku is part of the calculated risk, see my later post. And if Georgia would fall, it would actually would hurt Eastasia as it's oil production would be unavailable. Italianopolis is out of range, for sure - still.
