Yeah. The rumors started when atomic bombs began exploding over Malaysian cities when the two nations went to war. Some people say that was just coincidence and that the Roman Commonwealth should have stepped in and investigated the case. Some people might be fascist commie liberals.
Anyway, it's a good thing the international community managed to step in before any damage was done. If Quebec had been left unchecked people who are actually important might have been killed.
What did Quebec do to deserve being wiped out of existence?
You didn't read our explanation last week? Shame on you. At any rate the sequence of events was this: Malaysia DOWed Quebec, bringing in Oceania and Eurasia since we were allied. Oceania didn't send any actual troops, since we didn't really care who owned the Middle East. Quebec went nuclear, creating the Ganges Crater where the Delta of the same name used to be. Quebec then began alternating begging for peace with threatening further nuclear action if he didn't get it. Italy offered Quebec a WP. While the offer was on his screen, Quebec nuked Arequipa. Then he accepted the peace. After that it was only a question of how fast the avenging troops could get there.
Was the offer on screen for a minut, then nukes (as in -nukes already launched before offer) Or -as I understand it - With the offer open, he launces the missiles, then accepts/waits for them to hit and Accepts.. ???
Well, I wasn't looking over his shoulder at the time. It may not have been completely intentional. But even if it was partly accident, why bomb Italy at all? Oceania was not fighting him at the time, we were quite calmly dismembering Finland and watching Malaysia fall apart. The timing with the bombing and the peace acceptance was just icing on the cake.
Regime change and "OMG he has teh WMDs" and such is all funny and a great joke in OTL, but in the game's timeline we aren't talking about a third-rate dictator who dissed someone's father. Every government involved in the punishment of Quebec had been on the receiving end of genuine, grade-A nukes signed "From Africa With Love", delivered by rockets capable of girdling the Earth in forty minutes; no poxy little Scuds for Quebec! This is not blood for oil (Africa has none), this is blood for fallout.

Bah, the USIA Armed Forces were perfectly capable of dealing with the Trinidadese: the build-up for operation 'Let's Take Back That Dang Mutant Island' was proceeding very well and within months there would be enough supplies and personnel in place to execute a careful well-timed invasion with an army prepared for a long drawn-out war. Gotta plan to win the peace too, y'know.

Who is/was Hitler in this alternate reality? Some painter from Austria, who didn't fight in a WW1 wich didn't take place? -And in real life he didn't invade Russia..He invaded the Soviet Union...
Most likely, he wasn't born at all. However, the names "Adolf" and "Hitler" would probably not have the bad associations they had in OTL.
Those associations would be reserved for the names of the Quebecois government.
Well since the WWI took place in 1650's in this timeline, yeah, there migth have been some Austrian painter named Adolf to portrait the roam of EAC Across the Alps to end the "but we are not called HRE"-mafia's 500 year reing in the west.
